According to CDF notices received from the Amador Fire Safe Council, the burn ban has been lifted.
You must have a burn permit, and call the air pollution control district before you burn, though.

The California Department of Forestry and Fire (CDF) and Sierra Pacific Industries (SPI) announce the start of prescribed burning on 10/31/06. This prescribed burning will occur on both the Shake Ridge and Omo Fuel Breaks and will continue for several weeks. Smoke may be visible from various parts of the county.
